Overview
The Marketing Project Captain drives marketing initiatives from planning to execution, ensuring alignment with organizational and product goals. This role works closely with the Product Owner and cross-functional teams to translate product requirements into marketing tasks, manage timelines, and deliver multi-channel campaigns. The Marketing Project Captain also leads and supports the marketing team by providing clear direction, task prioritization, and ongoing feedback to ensure strong performance, collaboration, and continuous team growth, while maintaining brand consistency across all marketing efforts.
Responsibilities

Develop and execute marketing communication plans aligned with organizational goals.

Plan, coordinate, and deliver multi-channel campaigns (social, website, email, events).

Manage project timelines, resources, and deliverables to ensure smooth execution.

Oversee content calendars and collaborate with designers, content creators, and production teams.

Ensure brand consistency across all marketing materials and communication assets.

Work closely with the Product Owner to translate product requirements into marketing tasks.

Align marketing deliverables with product milestones and communicate progress to stakeholders.

Monitor campaign performance, analyze data, and present insights for future improvement.

Lead, coach, and support marketing team members by providing clear direction, task prioritization, and continuous feedback to ensure strong performance and team growth.
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Management, or related fields.

2–5 years of experience in project coordination, marketing, or similar roles.

Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Detail-oriented with a proactive, problem-solving mindset.

Knowledge of digital marketing, content workflow, or product development is a plus.

Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Asana, Trello, Notion, Jira).
